NDP call for Division of Housing

The NL NDP Caucus is calling on Government to create a Division of Housing.

Issues of Affordable housing and homelessness are growing concerns in Newfoundland and Labrador. While these problems have existed in some areas for a number of years, increasingly more areas, including rural ones, are now seeing low vacancy rates, high prices, lack of accessible housing, and a general shortage of places to live.

The NL NDP Housing Critic, Gerry Rogers, will be bringing these issues to the House of Assembly.
