NDP MHA for The Straits-White Bay North Christopher Mitchelmore has written to the Western School District asking it to mirror the actions of its Eastern counterpart.

Last night, trustees of the Eastern School District voted to rescind an earlier decision to close two schools, and to engage in a month of public consultations before making a final decision about closing them.
